The Expedition 21 is the larger sibling of out Trillium 21 tandem. The Expedition 21 has a large central sealed hatch in place of the open cockpit of the Trillium 21. This kayak shares other similarities to the Trillium in its 4 panel hull construction and hatch capacities.
The Expedition is fully intended to be a large touring and adventure kayak for high performance in windy and wavy conditions. This kayak is also extremely fast due to its gentle water entry and long water line.
Unlike other fiberglass and composite tandem kayaks, this kayak weighs in at only 66 pounds. This makes long portages and storage of this kayak easy, without compromising durability, lifespan or carry capacity.
